DVD Regions and what they mean to you.

We get many buyers from other country's who don't understand that DVDs are normally region encoded by the DVD company's. The DVD company's do this due to different TV standards worldwide, for example: Australia is region 4 PAL and America is region 1 NTSC. This is also a good way to tell if you are buying the real deal or not. Many new DVDs should be region encoded or else they are probably copy's. There are some exceptions to the rule but they are very rare.
