TMX ELMO BUYING GUIDE WALMART 8:00 AM 10/01/06

T.M.X Elmo Buying Guide
Tickle Me Xtreme Elmo
****NEWSFLASH WALMART PUTTING OUT TMX ELMOS at 8:00 am 10/01/06***
This is the special Limited 10th Anniversary Edition by Fisher-Price ( a Division of Mattel) of the loveable Sesame Street Elmo character.
The most secretly guarded toy of the pre-holiday season is now available!
Three different tickle spots trigger rounds of infectious laughter and movement Elmo slaps his belly, falls forward with his butt sticking out, stands back up again, topples backwards, and kicks his legs over his belly. He gees in a very special Top Secret case too!
Tickle-Me Elmo first caused mass hysteria in 1996 and here he goes again...fights are breaking out in stores over this little fella!
This is the GOTTA-HAVE toy for the holiday season!
Mattel's marketing strategy was nothing less than brilliant. For months they advertized the TMX Elmo showing only his silohuette...then they showed the top secret case. Finally on September 19, 2006, TMX Elmo was introduced to the world on Good Morning America and the race was on.
I have been bombarded with questions about this elusive fellow. Two are at the top of the list.
Where can I get one?Is it really worth it?
Unless you are at the right place at the right time, you probably won't be able to get him at the retail price of around $40.00. It would be worth checking with your local toy stores to see if they have any pre-orders available for subsequent shipments.
As to whether this toy is worth the $100.00 he is now gemanding, that it always up to the buyer.
Anything is worth only as much as someone is willing to pay for it.
If you are a parent or a grandparent looking to buy this toy for a special child for Christmas and can't afford the current prices, my suggestion is that you get him or her another Elmo and try to find the TMX after the hysteria dies down after the holidays.
