I see blood sugar test strips being sold on okay every day, and this is great. We all need to save money somewhere. What you need to pay CLOSE attention to is the expiration dates. Yes they are cheaper to buy when they are expired, but are they worth it? NO! It is not worth risking your health or life to buy something that has expired. The reason why you don't want to do this is because they don't give an accurate blood sugar reading. If you are a seller of expired blood sugar strips don't list them on okay, throw them away. If you know not to use them yourself then you should know not to sell them. It's not legal for a pharmacy to do this. Is it legal for you to? So when you are buying test stips look for the expiration date, if it isn't listed then ask the seller, if it's expired DON'T buy it! Think of your health, and your family. Your life is more important than saving a few dollars!
