Fiesta "Marigold" - Very Limited Run

Homer Laughlin China Co. will introduce a 75 week run of the color, Marigold, from April 1, 2008 to September 1, 2009 in a baking bowl set only. This release is to celebrate the Fiesta line's 75th Anniversery in 2011. The baking bowls are loosely based on the 1936 nesting bowl design (they fit into each other, but don't "nest") and will be produced in several other colors without any limit on their runs, such as Evergreen, Scarlet, Cobalt, Tangerine, Suflower, Peacock, Shamrock, and White.
Dinnerware and other usually produced items will be available in Marigold next year, beginning April 1, 2009 and ending September 1, 2010, another 75 weeks limited run.
A new and very unique item is rumored to be expected in Marigold in 2010 or 2011. I remember something referencing a Soup Tureen and Ladel that will be very heavy and very expensive (Check out HLCCA's DISH Magazine, Volume 10, Issue 4 for whatever details there are, as I cannot find any other information at present.) The inclusion of a ladel is also new, as I have oftenwished they were produced for the Vintage Fiesta's Marmalade and Mustard Jars. I believe that this item is supposed to be unique to the color, Marigold, but of course, that can change, as can any other detail about this item. Keep an eye out for more information.
With the exception of the 6 month run of Sapphire, this will be the shortest run of a color that Fiesta has ever had.
