Rocket Launch Sets
GenerallyLaunch Setsinclude everything you needto launch included a launch pad system and controller,plus an E2X (some assembly) or a Ready To Fly rocket (no assembly). You also recieve the National Association of Rocketry safety code instructions and building instructions. They do not include ignitors, engines and recovery wadding.
E2X Launch Set: Rocket parts pre-colored with no painting and some assembly.
Ready to Fly Launch Set: Rocket is already assembled and decorated.

Generally if you want to start the hobby,purchasing a launch set would be a good start.You get to pick your engine type and you just about have everything you need except as noted.
