s NOT accepting Check/MO Buyers/Sellers READ!

I'm putting this out ahead of okay's announcing the policy of not allowing sellers to accept, or advertise that they will accept a check or money order for payment. Yep, that's right...in October, okay will announce that sellers will not be allowed to advertise they accept this type of payment. I can't believe this is happening right in the ole US of A. I'm proposing a slogan to be used by all sellers, to let buyers know that we honor their rights as US citizens to pay for something they purchase in the United States of America, with a check or Money order. Why should we be railroaded into paying fees that are not necessary? If sellers would simply place this sentence "I Honor Your Rights", at or in the auction some where, this would let the buyer know this seller respects their right to privacy, and to pay with ANY payment that is considered LEGAL Tender in the United States. This would keep anyone from violating the proposed "policy" being forced upon us. I can only hope this "Honor your rights", or something similar will catch on before even more of our rights are snuffed out by corporations like this one. I'd be embarrassed to call myself an American if I was the owner of this operation. Please pass on this "Honor" campaign as our little secret handshake, if you will, so buyers will always know your payment (however YOU choose to make it) is welgee when you buy an item from me. Thanks for the time and support you've given me.Just an addition to this guide. What okay is not telling members is, sellers are allowed to continue to accept checks and money orders from buyers....they are just not allowed to advertise that they do. Make much sense? Almost seems a violation of free speech/truth in advertising. A seller can accept a check or money order IF the buyer questions the seller about payment methods accepted. I've just added a little tag line at the end of my auctions..."Please ask me about your payment options". When I get an email asking what options are offered, I can tell them I'm happy to take a check or money order. I'm pretty sure there have already been a number of law suits filed against okay in regards to this, and rightfully so. If you are a buyer and wish to continue to pay with check or money order, feel free to ask the seller if they will accept check or MO, chances are if they did in the past, they still will.
